Washington Forward’s Small Business Initiative is designed to elevate the voices and views of small business owners who keep Washington’s economy and communities moving forward. You can help by becoming a Champion! 

Our Small Business Champions are trusted business and community leaders who serve as public faces in our effort. With strong support from our team, Champions stand on the front lines of our campaign and serve as trusted messengers with key audiences. As a Champion, we will help you tell your story to educate the state about what small business owners are facing.

What champions are asked to do: 

• Join our email list to stay informed 
• Share your experiences and stories with our small business team
• Give us permission to use your name as a supporter of our effort 
• Use your social media channels to help our campaign spread the word
• Work with our team to share your views through op-eds, letters-to-the-editor, advertisements and other opportunities in your area 
• Participate in special advocacy training to learn how to effectively use your voice 
• Serve as an ambassador for small businesses in your community
  
  

Importantly, Washington Forward is NOT a partisan campaign. This is a non-partisan effort with supporters from all sides, designed to elevate the actual voices of small business owners in important debates and highlight the challenges facing small businesses. The expected time commitment for champions is less than four hours a month.
